Need some thoughts?
incon twin turbo on stock 302 or a 408 fuel injected, roller cam, trick flow T/W, trick flow 351 intake?

The Incons will probably be a heckuva lot cheaper, and they have awesome streetability. A 408 conversion could turn into a PIA, and can get expensive in a big hurry. I'll probably take the Incon route myself once the funds allow.

I'd agree first go with the incon twin turbo. Then when you have funds build a twin turbo 408!! Heh!!

I to must agree, the incon is probably your best bet. Your car will run normal when driven so, and like a raped ape when you rug it. Plus, any mods you make to the 302 after, like heads or intake, will only compound your fun. The typical mods only make even more power when hooked to a turbo, can you say holy $**t, hang on.

Chalk up another Incon vote. Sure, they may be a bit more involved to install, but they'll be cheaper (probably) and make as much or more power with a well matched kit.

I guess I'm the minority here. After using forced induction for over 100k miles I can say that it's generally a pain in the a** on reliability and tuning. In addition, turbos are more complex than blowers because of the tremendous amount of underhood heat that needs to be dealt with. Besides, you won't be stressing a windsor block at 500+ hp, but that is a threshold for the 302 block. I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

I think I going to agree too. Forced induction is great and all but its just not the same. My next motor is going to be a 8k rpm solid roller 408....shooting for 500hp at the wheels..
