You gonna tow this thing to the track? Your gonna need a whole new cpu setup or one hell of a custom chip for that to work and you will never smog that beast again. Good luck.

Consider it blown to pieces. The stock 302 block is only good for 450-500hp over the long haul. Your tranny would be grenaded as well. The T-5 has a rated torque capacity of 305lb/ft.
If and that's a completely hypothetical thought since it will never happen, you were able to not blow the thing to pieces even on a dyno, you'd be making probably in the area of 500-600hp on motor, and maybe 700-800hp under some serious boost from that S trim. Torque will be huge as well. Maybe somewhere near or above hp. Just my best guess. |

Your problem will not be so much that it needs to be "street legal" your problem would be keeping it "streetable". It would probably have a hard time idling and would probably overheat. I would recommend getting the chassis and other drivetrain mods done first. ie : Gears, Control arms, Subframe connectors, etc. before concentrating on engine upgrades. Then do a full exhaust (headers, H pipe - X pipe, and Cat-back exhaust kit of choice). Then save up your money and buy some nice heads, intake, injectors, fuel pump, adjustable regulator, throttle body, MAF sensor, cam, and other related components. Dial in your combo and practice. With traction you should be in the mid to low 12's like alot of other cars on this board. Depending on the mileage and condition of the engine, it should be able to handle these mods without any problems. If you want more power and a faster car than low 12's - high 11's, then you'll need either nitrous or a supercharger. Then it is a whole new story. Decide on your goal before you buy any parts and try not to buy a part if you know you will need to replace it in the future.

ok, just to clerify somethin, this is my dad and i's project so when we were talking about parts he just kinda started naming off stuff, and i went and researched what parts would be best for combination, I don't think he remebered that it was also my street car so i was wonderin, what you guys thought about the Stage 3 street kit from Excessive Motorsports it has:
Vortech/Procharger supercharger Stage 3 canfield alum heads Stage 3 ported holly intake stage 3 custom grind camshaft billet adj reg BBK 1-5/8 shorty headers bullet 75mm mass air meter 30lb SVO injectors, Then if i were to add these would it run the low 12's-high 11's? Subframe connecters gears 3.73 Control arms BBK 190 lph fuel pump 75 mm T-Body X-Pipe DynoMax ultra-flo SS 2 1/2 |

With the blower you will need way more than 30# injectors. All-motor that combo would need 30#'s. That combo would have easy 10 second power (planting it is another story). You might also consider some sort of tuning aid such as a PMS or twEECer. The only other problem I see there is that it is Excessive Motorsports you are considering. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! They will take your money and make up BS excuses. Absolute crooks.
