BEST place is on calssifieds pages-someone who wants to swap for a C4-or is straight out selling a 5 spd conversion. Otherwise the cheapest would be to go to a yard and pull all the 5 spd stuff and buy a Tremec.
-gonna need:
pedal assy
clutch cable
clutch fork
clutch
shifter
wiring diagram for neutral safety switch and reverse lights

Just out of curiousity, why are you thinking of switching to a Tremec? C4 should be faster, and stronger.

Default switch

first the c4 was in the car when i bought it. Its a revese manual valve body with a 3800 stall behind a 300 hp. 302. The trans fluid is a little burnt so figure it should probably at least be gone through. With the stall speed behind the 302 its gonna be out rageous behind my 393, so figure on a new stall. Then there's the drivability issues would like to be able to drive the car to some off the big shows down south and not run 3500rpm the whole way. Anyway just considering right now thanks

Ahhhh...I see. Yeah that's the only reason I haven't yet switched to a C4-I like to be able to drive it long distances if I want to-easily.
