![]() Hey, I got a 90 Lx u can tell by my name...neways yeah it's a 5.0 and it's all basically stock. I'm planning to change all of that and turn this into hell on wheels. So I was wondering what does every1 think I should do???...3.73's gears..., NOS???...headers...??? some1 please help me...any suggestions would be appreciated. thanx.

![]() First off, do the free stuff. Advance timing to 14-15. Remove air silencer behind filter box. Gears will give you the most for the money. Do your self a favor and get weld in sub frame connectors. Try running synthetics in motor, tranny and rear end. This will give you 5-10 horse at rear wheels and make your pony last a lot longer. Amsoil makes a great product.

![]() low mileage....i would say switch to synthetic oil because of that.

![]() I agree, get a pair of weld-in subframes. They'll make a significant difference. I had a pair of Steeda's w/cross brace welded in about a month ago, and I love'em. Less rattles, less squeaks, better ride, and better traction. Every mustang should have some.
