Default 8.8 Questions

Within a few months I will be rebuilding the 8.8 in my near stock 86GT. In the near future this will be an 11sec car, should I rebuild what I have, or go with a 9"?

If the 8.8 is the way to go, are there any recommendations on the best way to build it? Should I make any modifications to the rear suspension?

My current plans for the 8.8 are: Auburn Pro LSD, 3:55 gears, heavy duty axles--Moser?? (should I go to a 5 lug conv.?).

Thanks for your help.
