![]() How hard is it to do a new fuel pressure regulator, it looks real easy but for me thats always the kiss of death.

![]() Not hard at all, it is easier if the upper intake is off but it can be done with that in place, 3 allen bolts hold it in.

![]() Actually the 95's have 2 allen head bolts that hold the regulator. Its been awhile since I first replaced mine, but I think I had to remove the upper. I bought a Paxton for around 100 bucks. I hope you realize that the mods you've mentioned: injectors, afpr, maf, are going to do absolutely nothing for the performance of your car. IF you were asking my opinion, i'd keep the 19's with a good aftermarket air meter calibrated for them, get the afpr, and a good custom chip for fuel management.

![]() I have a BBK fuel pressure regulator that was really easy to put on my 94 GT. I didn't have to take off the upper intake and it fits right in just like the stock one.
With the BBK regulator, the directions say that you do not have to use the gasket since the stock one didn't use one. This is wrong... you definately need to use the gasket that comes with the BBK regulator. If you don't use it...gas will pour out of the space between the fuel rail and regulator. Other than that, it's really easy. ------------------ TFS twisted wedge heads, TFS street intake, Lunati cam .500/.510 218/226, BBK FPR BBK shorties, BBK 70mm tb, Pro-m 75mm, ASP pulleys, FMS 3:73, Transgo shiftkit Flowmasters, Bassani x-pipe, K&N FIPK, FMS 1.6 roller rockers, 9mm wires,24lbs injectors, 190lph fuel pump, MSD cap and rotor, 18" wheels w/street tires |
