87-93 dashpad in an 83
 

has anyone done or know of anything about putting an 87-93 interior and dash in an 83 . my question is about hooking up the harness that is in the dash to the harness in the car. do they interchange. i dont think it will be that easy. i dont want to do the work and then not have it work properly. I could completely remove the entire harness from the donor car and install in the 83, but the headlights are the 4 headlight kind and not the euro design. im sure i could figure something out there but any thoughts, suggestions, or intelligent conversations about this would be greatly appreciated.

I want to do the same thing with my 86 LX notch. All I want to do is swap the dash. I'm going to keep searching. I'm guessing that the swap will be difficult.
