Question 87-93 GT 3rd Brakelight: Bulb part #

Does anyone know the part number for a replacement bulb for the 87-93 GT 3rd brake light? I've got a Saleen-style wing with the GT 3rd brake light, and I need to replace one of the bulbs.

I dont know the part number, but the bulb shoudl have anumber stamped on the base somewhere.. plus most autpart places should be able to look up the part ... I'm gusing it'd be something like a 194 like the ones you use for the license plate lights

Cool

Actually, the bulb I took off yesterday didn't have a number stamped on it. Although, it does look very similar to the license plate bulbs, not what you mention it. At least most stores take bulbs back, so I may have to experiment with different sizes.

well your best bet is to take the old bulb with you... but like I said most places will be able to look up the correct part for the application... the only thing to worry about is intensity... alot of bulbs look the same but some are brighter then others... for brake lights and interior lights and tail lights, etc..
