87-93 LX tailpipes on a 93GT
 

I've seen it done before. I think all you have to do is take the hangers off the LX tailpipes and weld them onto the GT's, right? Has anyone done this before?

Usually it'll look kinda odd with the stock GT rear bumper cover, but if you order a '93 Cobra rear bumper cover it comes with provisions to add the LX pipes so it looks alot cleaner and less cramped.

You can also put an extra 18" pipe at very low price 20$ each + 20$ for install. For now the look is much better. Here's some picture of mine with this config. My project is to get 1993 cobra bumper cover. For now it's just a money problem http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif

Personally, in my OPINION, I don't think it looks right, looks like your trying to forcefully add something that's not supposed to be there. This is not a flame, I have LX tail lights and some prefer the GT ones, to each his own.
