Angry 91GT Foglight fix problem!!! HELP PLS!!!

i did the gt foglight fix as per the instructions on corral.net http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/foglights.html and i've had it working for about a month and a half w/ no problems at all

then all of the sudden, last night, it went out, no foglights

i check the fuse coming off the battery and its shot, so i figure, big deal, i'll pop in another one, and it blows it too

so i strip the dash apart to check all my wiring...its perfect... like i said, i had this thing running for 45 days with no probs. i checked the wire that runs thru the firewall that carries the battery power incase it was grounding against the frame, it was fine, but just to be sure, i pulled the wiring out some so there would be fresh insulation, still no freakin dice

i can't figure this out, i turn the foglight switch on and off and i can feel the relay clicking, but when pop in a fuse and turn it on, it blows the fuse 2 sec later

a;ljga;lsgja;g

help anyone?????

Two years ago I rewired my fog lights as well only a slightly different way. I pulled the switched out by using a flat screw driver and cut the wires that leads to the fog lights. I then attached a new wire to the ground wire and used a steering column bolt to ground the switch. I then placed and inline fuse on the positive side and ran the other end of a wire directly to the fuse box. I used the fuse that would provide power to the fog lights. I can't remember but i think I used the one for convertable tops.? The fogs have worked fine ever since. I can operate the fog lights completely independent of all other lights including the driving lights if I want to. Just wanted to provide some info on what I did to solve the problem. Good luck!!
