Talking 94 gt aode questions?

i have a 94 gt w/an aode,will a aod out of a 94 gt work in my car?? i know it will bolt right up , but about the computer, drive shaft length etc,thanks for the help

Your driveshaft will also fit - the output shafts and housings are the same, incl. length. The plain AOD uses a throttle valve cable which works off the throttle body. Your tb on an /E car may not have the necessary mounting arm/hole for that cable. Compare yours with a car you know has a plain AOD. Your tb location may also be somewhat different. I don't know what effect disconnecting your trans from your computer will have, maybe none at all.
