95 cobra intake help

I just got done installing a cobra intake on my mustang. Everything went well no major problems until I was done.

No the car heats up fast and goes all the way to the (a) on normal. Prior to the install it rode between the (O , and the R)

I double checked the thermostat its good (Installed Right).

last week I installed Fluidyne Radiator, new hoses, Thermostat, and temp Sender.
The upper hose gets hot so I would assume fluid is flowing. I did notice the upper hose gets really hard like theres alot of pressure. Is this Normal?

Any suggestion on what to look at to correct this would be great.

Thanks

No, it's not suppose to get that hot and the hoses are not suppose to get that hard. This may be a stupid question/idea, but did you double check to make sure the heaterhoses were installed correctly?

I just unscrewed it from the original intake and screwed it right in to the new one. I did not undo any hoses other that the thermostat bypass hose and the upper rad. hose. I will check that out. The heater works fine.

When I installed the intake I used studs to guide the intake so the gasket didnt slip out of place.

Got It. The problem was the cheap Thermostat from AutoZone.

Bought a Heavy duty from Napa. Now its all better.

So the point of the story is Don't Buy an autozone brand thermostat. Only lasted a week.
