![]() The AFR's are excellent, expensive, and pre ported. The TFS Street heads, flow very well, are cheap, and unported. The GT40X I have yet to see make outstanding numbers on any car.

![]() Thanks for the info guys. How much are the AFR's? The stage II TFS heads were around 2 grand. Thats getting pricey. I want to keep the price around $1500.00 tops.

![]() I think there are some somewhat local places that do porting, with stage II around $500-650. I believe. You could buy the heads and take them there.

![]() I paid 1700 for my afr 205's, the only thing I had to do was put pc valve seals in 'em..if you specify them I'm sure they'd put them in for you. I like the fact that they are a FINISHED head. The 5 angle valve job was actually in the right spots! (the 185's would be a good pick too if you want to save money.)

![]() They still make them for chevys, but I don't think the ford versions ever took off. awesome heads though.

![]() I was considering getting a set of AFR 185's and putting them on my car now untill I get the stroker finished, then swapping them over.
