Additional mods
I have a '86 GT with a 70mm TBI, stock intake, BBK equal shorties, BBK H pipe, Flowmaster American thunder Cat back.
It has an AOD trans and 96k miles. I want to make the car a little quicker and have better throttle responce. The throttlebody was not matching up very well to the stock intake, even with some grinding. There is a major difference in sizes. Should I change the intake or should I concentrate on gearing? What is the next logical step? |
For the money, gears would be your best performance enhancer... and as the $$$ find your pocket, take a look at heads, intake, and exhaust.......
