Adjustable Clutch Cable & T-5 oil?

Has anyone used the adjustable clutch cable from Ford Motorsports? Is it any good. Who makes the best/easiest to use firewall adjuster? I plan on sticking with a factory cable since it is so well made.

Also, what about Trans oil? I've heard you don't want to put a synthetic oil into the T-5? Something about wanting to slow down the synchros so you want to use a regular oil? Does anyone know any truth to this.

My understanding is that most of the adjusters perform about the same, (mines a steeda, but I've heard good things about most every major mfr). Mine uses a stock cable, with a small modification. I believe most do. I would recommend getting a replacement quadrant along with it. The plastic ones are junk.
T-5's will need ATF, not gear oil, its too thick for the needle bearings in the tranny (IIRC).
