Default Reprogrammable custom chip?

Hello,

My mods are listed below, but I was thinking about getting a custom chip. I want one that I can get reprogrammed pretty easily/cheap. I will be getting new injectors/pump with either heads or supercharger for a future mod. I wanted to do some small things for a while (fuel pressure regulator, few electrical quirks, new tires, and stuff like that).

I wanted to get a chip soon for a little bit more power (maybe), but mainly to get everything running better. I am willing to pay more for a high quality chip, but I definately want a custom one.

I am wondering how much it has the potential of helping, how much they cost to reprogram, and stuff like that...

Thanks,
DoranW

JMS Chips use the Autologic software that is reprogrammable. The first chip will set you back $300 or so and then it's $80 for re-burns after that. However, if upon receiving your chip your idle problem isn't fixed, or you don't like the program selections, etc., you can ship it back within a couple weeks and they will re-burn it for free.

The best way to do a chip is to have one burned in conjunction with a dyno tune. This way, they can monitor many aspects of your engine in order to maximize power without taking things to the limit.

The JMS Chips do come with a 'dip switch' which will have three separate programs to chose from. Each program will be described in the instruction sheet.

Hope this helps,
E
