Cool AFR Users Cam questions

I will be ordering a set of 165s. What cam should I use? I have a stock bottom end. AFR told me to use the E-303. If you reply, state your 1/4 times, and package, Thanks. Jason

While they suggest using this cam,I personally would have a cam custom ground.Might be abit more money, but it'll be worth the performance.

AFR heads have weak valve springs from the factory. Thats why they recommend a cam with lifts below .500, like the e-303 with its .498.

I would recommend a comp. cam. Look through thier web page and get something around 215/220 duration @ .050 and .530 lift.

And upgrade those valve springs. You can order better springs from AFR also as an option.

Cool

The bottom is a 92. The guy only talked about clearance. I will be swapping springs.
