Aft. Market Computer setups..?

Hey guys, I was wonder what everyone uses for aftermarket computer setups? also, I know you can get piggy back systems, but does anyone make a good system that uses the stock EFI harness but replaces the stock computer to let you tune your car the right way..?

The trouble with a computer that totally takes the place of the factory unit, is that you have to start from scratch with everything. The only one Ive ever messed with is the PMS. It is plug and play (not plug and pray) you can alter your stock fuel and timing curves. It also serves several other functions depending on what power adder you have. It also has the coolest sounding 2 step and a Stand alone feature. hope this helps

With the PMS can you alter what stuff the computer looks at, like deleting the emissions sensors? Stuff like that. Is it better to just go have a chip made or do it yourself with the PMS? I put a 347 in with all the emissions and cat stuff off. But the sensors and egr switch still has to be plugged in for it to run.

Hey Crewzin, not sure if this answers your question or not, but, I eliminated my egr.
