Post Aftermarket EFI computer (Pinto project)

Does anyone know if you can get and where to get a programmable EFI computer. I want to be able to run an EFI 5.0 without emissions equipment. A friend has a Chevy with a fuel injected 350 and he found an aftermarket EFI computer and can play with fuel curves, timing curves, idle speed, rev limiter (both fuel and ignition). I'm planning on putting a 5.0 with EFI in a 74 Pinto. Found a great deal on a running Pinto for $100 with a straight body and frame. Also, does anyone know anything about getting a 8.8" or 9" ford rear end that will be narrow enough for the Pinto? I know I'm gonna have to weld custom four link mounts and stuff, that's not a problem, just need to know what to get. Thanks guys.

WMS Motorsports (http://www.wmsracing.com I think) sells a kick @ss system made by SDS Injection. You can play with fuel curves, igniton curves, and all that. Best of all (in my opinion) is that everything is real-time and it has an LCD panel one the controller to adjust it while you're driving. No laptops required. The only thing it lacks is data logging.

Thanks a lot man, sounds awesome. Looks like it just takes the place of your EEC computer (plugs into the same connector and everything) Will this allow me to get rid of emissions stuff and not worry about those stupid error codes? I would hope they wouldn't bother to make emissions crap. I just want to be able to run a bare minimum of equipment, like no vacuum crap other than for power brakes. Anyway, thanks for the link man.
