Jimberg, that's the one......1)hate the shift knob 2)sloppy 3rd and 5th 3)just doesn't feel that "solid". I've heard everyone w/ Pro 5.0 and Tri-Ax rant and rave about them. ------------------ '90 LX 5.0; 12K original miles (no sh*&); 3.55 gears; pulleys;Edelbrock Performer Heads; BBK shorties; MSD 6AL box w/ blaster 2 coil; Motorsport E303 cam; Pro-M 75mm MAF; BBK 70mm TB; Eibach spring kit; Southside welded subs; K&N cone filter charger; Hurst shifter; fiberglass turbo hood; A/C-less; rear seat-less; cat-less; 2 chamber Flos; Corbeau racing seats (fronts); 30# injectors; 190 lb fp; FPR; TFS track heat Intake - 12.513 @ 112 mph (Pre-inj/fuelpump/FPR/intake)

Another vote for Pro 5.0 I broke 2 Hurst Competition Plus shifters, and one B&M Ripper. The Pro 5.0 is the only one that stands up to my abuse. ------------------ Moxie Racing The Nitrous Oxide Information Site

That's weird. I love mine. It didn't come with a shift knob, either. I have an aluminum shift knob from Steeda along with the Tri-ax shift handle. The shift handle is farther forward on a Tremec so the Tri-ax shift handle puts it in a better position for shifting. I'm not saying that the Pro 5.0 isn't better. It probably is. I just don't think the Hurst Billet Plus is as bad as people make it out to be. ------------------ 351W 89 Mustang GT Convertible
