![]() I am the type of guy that likes the lower look of cars. But my stang sits high in the front (as most do). I heard that the Lakewood drag shocks that I'm using are good for youe ET due to the weight transfer but I wouldn't no since I haven't taken her down the strip yet. If I was to try to lower the front end a little...would it hurt my potential E.T.?? And would I need to put struts back in to lower it?? Thanks

![]() In theory, the more weight you can shift onto the rear-end, the better you'll hook. So a common practice in the past -- and it might still work now -- is to jack up the rear with tall springs, and soft shocks.
Personally, I think it looks kind of cool like that, though. ![]() |

![]() Thanks. I guess I'm just not used to that look but I've noticed that how mine sits is very similar to how others sit also. The best thing for me to do is run her just how she is and see what she does. I can't wait. I'm expecting at the very least 12's, but with the new cam and trans brake going in it might be even better.
