Yeah i think i know what you're talking about. Do you mean the heat tubes from the maniolds that went to the underside of the snorkels? I'll tell you what i did...Garbage can. They're there to help heat your engine up quicker so there's less emissions when it's cold. I took the vacuum lines away from the flaps that close off cold air (i still have the dual snorkel air cleaner) and supply hot air from those tubes and i threw the tubes away since i now have headers. I figure the headers heat up quick enough to make the engine nice and toasty, so i don't worry about it. Within 5 minutes my car is usually semi-warm so i don't worry. Another thing i'd try to do is take off the heat shields from the exhaust manifolds that are the mount for the tube, since you really don't need them. good luck
