Airbag Dash Light & Remove
 

I haven't been here in ages and look what's new! Finally got around to fixing my pony after an intimate encounter with a guardrail. Here's the dilema; how do i get that Airbag light to stop flashing on the dash without replacing the airbag system?(not yet anyway) And, how do I remove the airbag(been deployed)so i can toss it and get to the wheel bolt? Chilton says there are four nuts to remove. I see four of something on the back side of the wheel but on the inside it's totally flat; nothing to hold onto to turn. I checked the archives but no luck. Any help is, of course, appreciated. BTW, Great new digs here. Been gone wayyyyy to long. Time to wipe the cobwebs(from me and the pony) and get back into the game. Thanks much.

Ooops! Just realized that I had to update my profile. Whew! New password and everything. How 'bout them apples.

Ok, after my yoga, zen mind exercise, and a V-8 I got the airbag off. Just a little rusty. But still need help on the flashing dash unless all my gerbils start to move.

I would unplug the airbag control module. It's a blue box located beneath the radio.
