I'm putting the engine from my 88'LX to my 89'GT conv. will I need a new Alt for all the power options on the GT?.... My LX is based right out,.. no power anything, is this going to be a problem?...

You should be ok with the stock alt. if you plan to do any mods, elec.fan, fuel pump, etc., you may want to upgrade to the 130 amp. or upgrade anyway.

I'm pretty sure that they all came with a 75 amp alt no matter what.
