Default clutch not fully disengaging/engaging

got a weird one. had a new clutch disk, pressure plate and cable put in about a year ago. worked fine. now, recently, the clutch engages right close to the floor board and is hard to get into gear. Replaced the quadrant and still same problem. any ideas? What else is weird is that sometimes when you first start up in the morning, it shifts fine. Then later it becomes hard to get into gear. thanks.

First thing that pops to mind is IF it's self adjusting cable... adjust it a lil, when adjusted correctly should engage /disengage about an inch from the floor! my 2 cents

Definitely a cable problem. If it's a stock "self" adjuster, grab the pedal with your hand, and pull up towards the dash. You'll hear a little "zip" sound, sorta like a wire tie makes.

If not, adjust it at the firewall, or clutch fork, whichever setup you have.
