as for the pattern, you usually start on the middle two head bolts, top then bottom, or bottom then top, doesn't matter. Then go the the ones to the right of those, if you started with the top, start with the top again, then the ones to the left of those, same order, then the ones on the far right, same order, then the ones on the far left, same order. Left and right doesn't matter, just as long as you start in the middle and move outward. And like cyberstang said, go in stages, 20, 40, 60, but do the pattern each time.
