Annoying Tick when warm

Last week my car began making a tick when warm. I lowered the timing to 15* and upped the fuel pressure to 40psi and it still makes the tick. It only happens between 1700-2300 rpm. The codes I've pulled are 41 and 91 (lean condition). Should I up the fuel to 44 psi or so? I drove it before and it never made the tick (two-three weeks or so) before it started making the tick? With the engine off it pulls a nice fat 11. What should I do? If it were my egr would It pull a code for it? Should I just bump up the pressure? Im pretty sure the tick is pinging, but it sounds basically like an exhaust leak. Could it be my o2's? THX guys, your help will be appreciated.

You sure your not just hearing the injectors? how about a bad throw out bearing? Exhaust leak?

I upped the pressure to 44#'s and the code went away. But now I was getting code 44 (right thermactor inoperative) and I read in a bunch of posts that they usually got that code and replaced the TFI and the code went away. Well, I changed the TFI since it's stock anyways and the code did go away, my low end (1000-2000rpm) seems to have improved and my idle stays at about 950 alot more. But now I heard some louder ticking/knocking and when I pulled the codes I got 91 (left HEGO sensor indicates system lean). What do I do now? bump up the fuel pressure to 48+?? How can I find out whats causing it? Maybe some unmetered air coming in? Need help here pleeeaaaassseee...
