Post Head Gasket question

I think I have a blown head gasket...traces of coolant in the oil. No other symptoms, unless excessive/crazy pinging on a warm engine under load is one of them. I guess I have coolant loss, but very very slow. I should say the car was purchased without an overflow bottle and bad ECT, so I know she ran HOT for a while...What other damage might there be? Valves? Rings? Pistons?
I should say it is a stock 95 GT, 85K miles. Also, code scanner came back with cyl balance test with no errors, it passed.

up. (Don't want it to get buried...)

The oil is not milky or cloudy, it is light brown. I do not have bubbles in the radiator nor smoke out the rear and no oil in the radiator. What are some other things to check? (I am getting an air adapter to do a "leak down test."

I'm guessing it could be one of two things. 1: one of the head gaskets is starting to fail and has a small leak. These are the hardest to detect and usually it's hard to diagnose them before they totally fail. A leakdown could give you an indication, but if it's as small as you say it is, you may not see anything.
2: a plugged PCV system will cause condensation to build up in the engine because the vapors have no place to go and it liquifies and looks like there's water/coolant in the oil.
good luck, keep us posted on what you find!

Well, got the adapter for the leakdown...will do it tonight. As for the PCV, it is new. Any other ideas?
