Post stock fuel pump with a carb

OK from what I understang the pump in my car is the same pump used in 5.0s. If I use a regulator to bring the pressure down to 6 or 7 psi will the pump be able to flow enough to suport 300-350hp

Thumbs up

The stock pump will work ONLY if used with an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with a Bypass. I recommend the Aeromotive Regulator, it's what I use. I've tried the Mallory ----- Only had problems....... Check a JEGS catalog, you'll find it there...

I ran mine like that for a while but had problems trying to keep the fuel pressure stable. Good luck!
