I have messed around with modulars but do not have alot of know how on the 5.0--So I was hoping someone could help me with the "explorer" myths--true or false with the intakes being better- Also Some other interchangable parts for performance would be great as this (for now) isn't my true "toy" it is my daily--I need all the cheap bastard tricks you got as my '53 sucks up all my funds at present time. thanks in advance for the help-joe

Explorers do have better intakes and they have better heads (gt40P's). The explorer intake flows very similar to the cobra intake. You will need to drill and tap for the temp sensor other then that it is a pretty basic swap.
