![]() What would the symptom of a failing TFI Module be? My car is an 89 LX 5.0L, and recently, after highway driving for about 50-60 miles, when I get off of an exit and begin to slow down, the car stalls, and then will re-start, but will immediately stall again, until I eventually will not be able to start it until the engine cools. When it is about to stall, it feels as thought the car is out of gas, even thought I have over 3/4 of a tank. I have a new fuel pump to install and I have also read alot about the failing TFI module and the recall by Ford years ago.
Does this sound like the pump or the TFI module to you all???? Please reply with suggestions. This is driving me crazy! Thanks in advance..... |
