Any ideas for putting 32v into a fox body
Iam trying to piece together all the parts and thing needed for my new project project- putting a 32v cobra engine in a 87-93 stang- any inputs or any sites with info relating

I don't think the DOHC motor will even squeeze in between the strut towers to tell you the truth. I know they had to widen the SN95's to be able to wedge the 4.6 SOHC motor in there, much less the DOHC engine.

Beleive me unit, it can be done, at the track near by, a guy has a 90lx hatch with a blown cobra 4v motor, im not sure how much trouble it was, but maybe tomorrow at "mustang vs camaro" i will see him again and talk with him.
The guy has a pic of his car at www.rivercityracewayinc.com in the pic's section, not sure if it's still there. oh and that car rocks http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif ------------------ 90 lx coupe: Mac cold air fenderwell, accel supercoil, advncd ignition,3-core radiatr, FMS alum D/S, Black magic fan, 3.27grs, 3chbr flows. Yep, it's a "sean hylan motorsports crate motor". on the pic, it's the grey one with the white hood, and one thing i cant forget about that car, is how hard it launches, and the awesome sound from those 1 cmbr flows http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif

I suggest that you contact Alternative auto. Www.alternativeauto.com they did a foxbody 32v cobra project with just a blower and longtues and went 9's.

Thanks for the heads up! Well I suppose it must be possible since it's been done. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...ard/tongue.gif
Hehe, if they can build a kit to shoehorn a 460 big block into a Mustang II I guess you can jam a DOHC 4.6 into a Fox body. Heh, I bet you it's still a PITA though. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif |
this website tells about a guy hot rodding a 5.4 with DOHC etc and putting it into a Stang - //users.ev1.net - then look for that topic. If it doesn't work, email me at macx.clas.net & I mite be able to narrow it down a little.
