Any tips on getting more torque out of a stock motor?
I have a stock motor and intend to keep it for street only (5500rpm max). What are some ideas on getting more "seat of the pants" power that I could do? Tips like keeping my stock headers for low end is one that I've heard. Adding gears is another but I already have 3.55. What kind of heads, intake, etc. would work for me?

With your gears, decision to stay with stock headers and only wanting to rev to 5500, NITROUS would be perfect for you, cost about half as much as heads, cam, and intake. Get a 75-150 horse dry shot, put a 190 pump in, a AFPR, ASF32C Motorcraft plugs, sticky tires and that would give you about 1 full second improvement.
Whats with 5500rpm max, this is racin'! bud!
