Anyone drop in a stroker or big block?

Has anyone put in a crate stroker in their 1990-1996 Mustang? What i'm looking to find out is what does that do to your insurance costs? I guess legally you should tell your insurance company you've replaced the motor. It is an easy drop in? Is it much better than the stock 5.0? I'm even thinking big block possibly. Anyone drop in a 428? what was insurance increase for that? Tell my guys, I want more power!!

No offense, but your an idiot if you tell them. Thats why a lot of people modify 4 cylinders, to keep the cheap insurance. It won't raise the value of the car, unless you take out additional coverage. I have an 85 GT with a 347 stroker and a long list of mods. The fact of the matter is, if I dent the fender, they will total it. So I only carry liability. I have roughly 450 plus horsepower and it costs me 200.00 dollars a year in insurance. It will pretty much out run any stock vehicle, its paid for, and insurance is cheap. After all don't you think you pay enough insurance?
