Anyone ever run 4.56's

I can get an 8.8 with 4.56's installed by the Ford house for free. The only problem is I would cross the line @6100 RPM's in 4th gear.

My 90LX is a drag car so what do you think......Too extreme or go for it.
:D

You mean you didn't consider 4.88's? Haha, just joking around. I got the 3.73's in my car and really wish I put 4.10's in but I'm going to be bad enough with the winter driving I have to do. You're a different story, if you have a drag only car, I think 4.56's are a great strip only rare street use. My friend has 4.30's in his car and just drives it on like nice nights and weekends and he loves it. 4.56's aren't that much more. But I say go for it!! ~Brian

Too extreme? Nahhhhhh. I've got 4.88's now and am crossing the line at 7800-8000rpm ..... with stock lifters I might add!

If need be, step up to a 28" tire. Heck, I'm one bad decision away from putting 4.30's in my daily driver ;)
