Springs and stuff
I'am running STEEDA sport springs as part of their G-trac III Suspension. I'am getting too much dive under hard braking into the corners. I have the TOKIKCO's set at 3 front and 2 rear. Has anyone tried STEEDA progressive springs. I think they are 650-850#/in compared to the sports @600#/in linear ?
Also, Has anyone tried moving weight to the rear, like the battery? Is it easy/legal? Sounds like springs aren't stiff enough. I would think specific rate is much better than progressive for racing. Is your car totally a track *****, or a DD?
I'd move up to something in the 800# range, 600# isn't stiff enough. I've got H&R progressives for my DD/Auto-x car, 700-760F, 275-300R. Those Steeda progressives sound like they've got an awful wide range of rates. I haven't got an opinion on my new set up yet, I've barely had it in for a day! =) No more events this year either! =( From the guys I've heard from running Tokicos, they run 4 or 5 in front. Have you tried messing with the settings? |

If you are getting too much dive, then I suggest a Trac-Link bar. That woudl remove a lot of diving.

My car is a daily driver, weather permitting.
I change rotors, pads and tires before the track. How do you like the 750# springs on the street? Dan |
