Default GT40P's with a stock intake?

Hey guys, i need a quick question answered. I just need to know if I can run gt40p's with a stock upper/power intake on an 89 lx 5.0. I know I won't feel all the power the heads can offer but i can't afford the intake right now. I will be getting an intake for it, but probably not until summer time. So is it doable or will i need to modify the intake somehow?

Yes they can work with the stock intake. You might give it a slight home port job. Every little bit helps.

Yes, you have to use specific headers for those heads. Ford motorsport makes a good set.
