Default Header to h-pipe bolt size?

I am getting ready to install some JBA shorties and a BBK h-pipe. Both are used pieces and have no hardware. Can someone tell me what diameter bolts are used from the header to h-pipe and from the h-pipe to the mufflers? Is it 7/16 or 1/2 diameter? Thanks

the size of the header bolts by wrench size or the actual size of the thread that goes into the head?

well it is 3/8" 16 i think that goes into the head. you can get header bolts at most chain auto parts stores. Usually in the Mr.Gasket section or high performance section.

I have the bolts from the headers to the heads. I am talking about the longer bolts that go between the exhaust flanges on the header and the h-pipe, 2 per side. Anyone?

Default you are in luck

I just had to buy some nuts because I bought a used h-pipe with no hardware and the hardware I had was rusted to hell. I have shorty headers, but they were 7/16" The head on the nut was a 11/16", (not like that matters much). Good luck, my advice, have two people under the car to hold & tighten the h-pipe bolts to the headers.
