				 | Intake from explorer will not fit under the hood of the stang, ( I think ). If you are planning on adding a power adder to the 5.4 or have blown your motor I could see doing this if you are doing the work and the engine is cheap. Otherwise you would be WAY better off spending the cash to Mod your engine. The 5.4 does not make alot more power than the 4.6. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish, power or new engine. If I were looking for more power I would go with a blower or buy a set of P&P heads and VT or Comp stage 2 cams, or drop in a 4V !

				 | You can, but its gonna be alot of work man....... Either you're gonna have to get some motor mounts that set it lower in the engine bay, or have to get a new hood, and maybe both.... You're also gonna have to get a harness to wire it up... Its not impossible, but alot of work. -Will

				 | Besides some low end torque, there's really no other benefits. You're limited in RPM do to the long stroke, and you're adding weight to the front of your car. Take 5.4L 4V from a Navigator and now you're talking more HP, but to me neither are worth it. A lot of work for a little gain. Let us know what you want out of your car and we can help ya.

				 | Check that back issue of 5.0 mustangs and super fords fords. They took a 5.4 from the junk yard and threw it in a 99- up stang. They got the motor really cheap and picked up some good power, though you'll need an aftermarket hood for good clearance. |
