Default Anyone pull sub-1.7 60ft's on stock axles.

My Nittos werent cutting it anymore, so I bought slicks. I borrowed some slicks once and launched @2500rpms and pulled a 1.7 60ft. This was before my heads and intake.

I was just wondering what kinds of 60 ft times can be achieved with stock axles before you have to worry about breaking one.

Thanks,
Later.

wow, that puts my mind at ease. I thought I was gonna have to buy a stronger set real soon. But since I have an extra stock set in the garage just incase I guess that can wait

I know what you mean man. Same thing with me. Theres NO way I'm gonna be spending that much money on a pair of tires that lasted 3 trips to the dragstrip and not even 1 year on the road

Time for some cheap-*** street tires and some 26x10's!
