Default tranny and motor

is a tranny like a motor .. do you have to break it in ?

I wouldn't suggest doing a 6000RPM launch as soon as you put a brand new tranny in, but they don't need the long breakin time a new motor does.
I'd suggest to put a small amount of miles on it just to make sure everything is ok before you go beating on it, but thats just me.
