attn:problem solved with vibration/noise
pkrwd thanx for the help anyway, along with everybody else, hopefully it will help someone else in the future,
as i was standing under my hood in disbelief because i couldnt figure it out, i noticed one belhousing bolt backed all the way out about to come out, so i get underneath and find all of them loose, including the top ones, problem solved now, i remember tightening them after clutch install, guess it wasnt enough, thats why i heard the flywheel hitting under load, man i think i have the record for most bolts to come loose, merry x-mas. no more squeaks and rattle either, that could have been bad if it got worse, i can juist see the bellhousing being torn apart on the highway. |
Wow. Yeah, that's kinda hard to identify over the internet. Message boards are fun and informational, and I certainly try to help when I can, but not being able to be there in person really does limit my effectiveness.
I'm glad you figured it out, and saved yourself the hassle of pulling the tranny again, although you would have caught on when you started to remove the first bolt. Good job, and thanks for posting an update! :) Take care, ~Chris |
Yea, I noticed looking from the top though, weird, cuz i had been underneath, and didnt notice heh.
And i understand how thes messg boards are effective, but you can't diagnose a screwup like me to forget to tighten the bolts:p LOL, when trying to help someone, you have to assume the engine components are all there, and fastened lol....... |
