I would say just keep searching till you find a 5 speed that you really like. People on this board have done such a project and I've heard them say it can be a pain. So if you have never done a project like that before, it might not be the wisest decision. As far as price, it all depends. You could get away with it for $500, or go all out and spend $2000. I would say buy what you want first, rather then something you really don't. Good luck!!!
