If it is an AOD they were in everything Ford made with a 5.0. Crown Vic., F150, Town Car. Just check the manual linkage and the overall length.

Keep in mind that even though you may end up with an AOD from another car, there were internal differences for longevity and performance purposes between the different transmissions.

I would do away with the aod and go with a C4. I am running my second new aod and they just don't last like the C4. That's what I'm going with next.

Put a Lentech AOD in it and enjoy the benefits of the AOD with the strength and durability of the C4.

If you have the money, he is dead on right here. I will never leave my AOD for any other Auto. Love the extra gear, plus lentech has some nice added options.
