Default Back me up on this one.

Ok my sisters boyfriend has a 94 GT with a steeda #19 cam, stock "poorly" ported heads , 1.72 roller rockers, and all the other usual stuff.

He is planning on running a 150 shot of nitrous. So heres the questiion......He thinks he needs the holley systemax intake.....I think that that intake is a miss match with the stock heads...I think the cobra intake or the GT-40 intake would perform better in this combo. Right or wrong

In just the last week he has bought.

weld drag lights
mickey thompson ET streets
cam
roller rockers
cobra 5speed "it was an auto"
king cobra clutch
headers
150 shot

I think my days of picking on his auto at the track are over

Ok I think that a 150Shot might be more than he wants on the car with out Fordged Pistons..... That IS what I think IF it Does work good for a bit it will make the Motor not last as long......But it is his car Might want to tell him. Next YES I think the Intake would help him BUT only 3-8HP or so and he would be better off not getting it and spend it on another Part... Like headers or X-pipe so say up for new Heads!!!

Why would you bother camming a car with stock heads? Furthermore, why add an intake with stock heads? Well, you can pick up a little by doing the intake, but the Holley is without a doubt too big for that application. The 150 shot is overkill. Especially considering he doesn't have any experience with N20 before this. Hey, it's his engine that will need replacing though.

LOl, that is what I thought too, when he first got his car he was going to get this huge throttle body as his first mod. He is only 17 and runs a steeda shop that his grandpa bought to give him something to do

Thats how I got my steeda tri-ax shifter and steeda pullies for a total of $160.00.

Well anyways in his mind he has a 12.5 @108 mph car LMAO!!
I cant wait till' the track opens up.

Oh well at least he drives a stang
