Post New 2031 cam, idle questions

I got it running with the new 2031. It feels a lot stronger. Pulls real strong to 6 grand, or whatever that really is on the stock tach.
The idle is really rough after it warms up, and I don't have a problem with that if that's how it's supposed to run, but I though the 2031 still had a fairly smooth idle. How do I dial this in? Timing is at 14, fuel pressure is 36 with no vacuum, about 28 with vacuum. Those of you with 2031s, how does yours idle? Let me hear your .wav files.
Thanks,
Chris

Hey, I've got almost the same setup as you as far as valvetrain components goes. I have the 2031 cam w/ p-heads, and 1.7 roller rockers. My car has a nice, lumpy sounding idle. I've got my timing @ 14 degrees and fuel pressure @ like 38, i believe. My car idles fairly smoothly...it's not smooth as silk, but it's not helacious either. It's got vibration, but I love that...lets you know that you've got a hell of a car, and not a stocker anymore. Any questions, you can email me @ Pancke98@aol.com

Mine has a nice lope to it, I love it. You can definitely tell there is a cam in it. It lopes a lot more when it warms up. It does not sound even close to stock. Check out this site, this guy has a 2030 and mine sounds a lot like his. He has a link to hear his ride.
