backfire
 
i have this problem when i first start my stang up it backfires through the driverside tail pipe for about a min and then goes away what would cause this?

Just kidding...I just saw that it was your first post and couldn't resist. When you say backfire, do you mean like boom bang kind of $hit or a skip?

More than likely, I'd say your injectors are a little clogged or weak.

When you first fire the car up and it's cold the A/F mixture needs to be richer. If the injectors are running under a full load (especially low rpm's), usually they are just barely adaquate.

Like mine!

You could try to clean them, how many miles are on your car?
