Need Help 87 GT Disc Brake Conversion
Need help fast! What Ford parts will work to do a rear disc conversion on an 87gt. I heard parts from a Lincoln VII LSC will do it. Is this true. I can get these parts on Sunday if they will work but if I miss out ...I'm out of luck. The Lincoln is an 87 w/ 5 lug axles. Will this set up work on the 87. Also does anyone know what parts will work on the fornt brakes to convert to 5 lug? The same Mark VII? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just finshed doing a disk brake conversion on my 88 GT
Here is what I did, I got the disks, calipers, caliper mounts, axles off an 88 t-bird turbo coupe, all the parts just bolt on but you will need to bend new brake lines and a little bit of "piddly" work The conversion is worth it! If you need any help don't heasitate to e-mail me Keane ------------------ 88 Stang GT Cobra Every option but leather 10 speaker 440 watt system Blue/Grey with grey interior K&N air filter, black outs, & no air |
