BBK long tubes on P heads
I spoke with a BBK tech advisor about spark plug clearance on GT40P heads with BBK long tubes, and his response was that this combination is not possible. Is anybody in here running this, or has anybody witnessed this sort of combination? If so, was the combination workable? Cost in an issue here, as I have a chance to pick up some used long tubes for considerably less than the price of purchasing them new (although situations have not been looking good lately). The guy I was talking to with the MAC long tubes has fallen through, and I have already commited to the purchase of a long tube mid-pipe. Therefore, I need to know if BBK long tubes will fit on my P heads, or any other brand of long tubes for that matter.
Suggestions for a different setup are welcomed. Hell, if anybody wants to get rid of some old long tubes I'm open to that as well. Thanks, Matt |
