Belt Length

Hey guys. Happy new year to all. Lets blow all our tax money this year on our rides! Well I just have a simple question. What size belt would I need to cancel out my power steering pump. I don't have a pollution pump.
Thanks.

I read somewhere that you could use a length of string and follow the original belt route and measure the string. Hope this helps.

69 1/2" belt.
Most places will hassle you on asking what its for, and say" that's not in the computer" " i can't find a listing for a mustang w/ no power steering"
The belt numbers run like this.......
#60695 would be 6 rib, 69.5 inches
you get the idea, you may have to show the kid at pep boys what you need.

Yep mine needed a 69.5" with street pullies. I just switched to a race pully and my current short belt is 67.2" Good, cheap mod. Can't wait to track test it.
